The Position

The Sr. Business Development Coordinator will support Cambria's business development efforts. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, support staff, and  business development staff members. This position reports to Cambria's Proposal Manager. 



  • RFx Sourcing/Tracking
    • Check Marketing inbox twice daily
    • Screen all RFx notices and postings
    • Forward selected RFx to the appropriate Industry Leads with initial analysis
  • Proposal Development Support
    • Set up proposal workspaces in SharePoint Proposal Library
    • Format proposal documents using templates and styles, following company guidelines
    • Insert automatic exhibit numbering and cross-references
    • Complete draft administrative forms
    • Insert resumes into proposal response document
    • Consolidate various draft proposal sections into one master document
    • Consolidate proposal review edits and comments into one master review document
    • Assist with proposal production, packaging, and delivery
  • SharePoint Knowledge Management
    • Maintain Cambria proposal-related workspaces
    • Act as super user for the Proposal Library workspace, responsible for setting up new proposals and managing the master proposal list table
    • Keep documents and information current in SharePoint workspaces
  • Cambria Resumes
    • Validate that new staff create Cambria-style resumes that are saved in SharePoint
    • Format resumes and perform initial editing
    • Uploaded edited resumes into SharePoint to capture the most current version
  • Forms Completion
    • Complete forms using Adobe Acrobat and Word
    • Fill in standard Cambria information
  • Act as backup for Senior BD Coordinator as necessary
    • Cross-trained on BD Log/Pipeline duties
    • Track key proposal dates and send reminders (questions, bidder conferences, etc.)
    • Initiate Friday BD Forecast call
  • Other duties as assigned by BD/Proposal Manager


  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills with ability to provide weekly business development updates to Cambria management
  • Managing multiple priorities and adhering to submittal deadlines is essential
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment
  • Has the familiarity and ability to comply with brand standards and style guide
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
