  • Experience setting up teams for successful delivery by removing obstacles (or blockers to progress), constantly helping the team to become more self-organizing, and enabling the work the team does rather than impose how it’s done
  • Manages one (1) or more agile projects, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary, high-skilled digital team.  Adept at delivering complex digital projects, breaking down barriers to the team, and both planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed
  • Defines project needs and feeds these into the portfolio/program process to enable resources to be appropriately allocated
  • Organize and facilitate daily stand up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning, demos, and other scrum-related activities
  • Track and communicate scrum metrics including team velocity and sprint/release progress
  • Ensure Agile/scrum concepts and principles are adhered to and make the tough calls
  • Help the product owner establish and enforce sprint priorities and release delivery deadlines
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information
  • Coordinate activities between the integrations team and other interdependent teams-as integrations is about tying systems together, this is the bread-and-butter of this role
  • Anticipate and facilitate the impacts of new integrations or changes to business systems to dependent systems
  • Support team building and development by utilizing the abilities and skills of individuals

Primarily responsible for

  • Delivering projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
  • Working with the Product Owner to define the roadmap for any given product and translating this into user stories
  • Assisting the team with PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt
  • Coordinating with other teams through Scrum of Scrums (SoS) meeting
  • Matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensuring all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production)
  • Challenging the team to improve performance, quality, predictability, flow, and velocity
  • Helping manage the teams scope
  • Helping the team improve and conducts team retrospective
  • Supporting story estimating
  • Actively and openly sharing knowledge of best practices

Mandatory Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a scrum master
  • Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the processes and procedures associated with it
  • Strong ability to influence and drive teams to success using Agile/scrum/Lean practices
  • Experience managing portfolios, project plans, teams, and reporting
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic, geographically distributed, and timeline sensitive work environment and in matrix structures

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Shall hold a certification related to Scrum (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster® [CSM])
