Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, the HRIS Analyst partners with management, HR, IT, and Operations teams to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes, and leverage the return on technological capabilities. With a strong understanding of general HR and HRMS, the HRIS Analyst will conduct a needs assessment, review and recommend improvements, build project plans, and implement technological improvements based to support Cambria’s needs and goals.  This position will also serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports general IT functions, upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 3+ years HRIS analysis/administration experience
  • 3+ years HR generalist experience

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Experience with a tech organization
  • Familiarity with IT Help Desk Service function
  • Scrum Master


  • Manage projects/process improvement through technology, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of IT and HRMS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train internal clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Mandatory Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science or related degree.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential.
