Lead Architect

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The Lead Architect shall have at least six (6) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in systems development, analysis, programming or testing on one (1) or more Digital Service project, including at least three (3) years of experience in a lead capacity, these projects must have been implemented software as a digital service or using agile methods

For these projects the Lead Architect must have been in a lead position and responsible for:

  • Implementation of open source stack and open architecture within a cloud environment.
  • Analyzing, designing, developing, and integrating enterprise technical architectural solutions within multiple and diverse technical configurations utilizing open source technologies

On these projects the Lead Architect must have experience with:

  • Producing detailed technical architecture diagrams, documenting the logical and physical system architecture components, and establishing traceability between the business functions to system implementation components
  • Evaluating and recommending technology solutions and developing technical road maps using industry standard architectural frameworks that map/align with California and/or federal architecture frameworks and methodologies such as Medicaid Information Technology Architecture, (MITA), NHSIA, and CEAF.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to communicate on every level
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Participate in agile ceremonies
  • Review work produced by team members
  • On-the-fly skills acquisition, constantly keeping up to date with emerging technologies

Mandatory Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or related field
